Content Takedown & DMCA Policy
Last updated: April 2026
SuitYourFace takes intellectual property rights, likeness rights, and the responsible use of AI-generated imagery seriously. This page explains how to report copyright infringement, non-consensual use of a person’s likeness, deepfakes, or other misuse — and how we will respond.
1. What You Can Report
We accept takedown requests for the following categories:
- Copyright infringement (DMCA) — you own the copyright to photos that were uploaded and used without your authorisation.
- Non-consensual AI-generated imagery — AI-generated images of your likeness were created or shared without your consent.
- Deepfakes / synthetic media — realistic AI-generated images that falsely depict you in a misleading or harmful context.
- Third-party likeness misuse — images of another identifiable person were uploaded or generated without their permission.
- Other unlawful content — content that violates applicable law or our Terms of Service.
2. How to Submit a Takedown Request
Send an email to abuse@suityourface.com with the subject line Takedown Request and include all of the following:
- Your contact information — full name, email address, and (for DMCA purposes) mailing address.
- Description of the content — a clear description of the infringing or unlawful content, including any order numbers, account identifiers, or URLs if known.
- Evidence of your rights — for copyright claims, evidence that you own or are the authorised representative of the copyright holder. For likeness claims, a government-issued ID or other proof of identity.
- Statement of good faith — a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the content is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
- Statement of accuracy — a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act on behalf of the rights holder.
- Your signature — a physical or electronic signature.
Incomplete requests may not be actioned. We recommend using the above checklist to ensure your request is processed promptly.
3. Our Response Process
Upon receiving a valid takedown request we will:
- Acknowledge receipt within 2 business days.
- Investigate and, where the request is valid, remove or disable access to the reported content within 10 business days of verification.
- Notify the account holder that their content has been removed and provide a copy of the notice (with your personal contact details redacted where possible).
- Retain a record of the notice for our repeat-infringer assessment.
4. Counter-Notification (DMCA)
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification to abuse@suityourface.com including:
- Your contact information and electronic signature.
- Identification of the content that was removed and its former location.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or any judicial district if outside the United States), and that you will accept service of process from the original complainant.
If we receive a valid counter-notification we may restore the content after 10–14 business days unless the original complainant seeks a court order.
5. Repeat Infringer Policy
In appropriate circumstances, and at our sole discretion, we will suspend or terminate accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers. A “repeat infringer” is a user against whom we have received multiple valid takedown notices, or whose account shows a pattern of uploading content that infringes third-party rights.
6. Abuse of This Process
Submitting false or bad-faith takedown requests is unlawful under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f) and may expose you to liability for damages, costs, and legal fees. We will pursue remedies against parties who abuse this process.
